Larry is a highly intelligent and magnanimous individual who truly wants to help educators be successful in their classrooms. He cares for the students and teachers with whom he works. I have received excellent teaching advice from Larry. He has given me tips on how to differentiate and fine tune my lesson plans for my students with special needs. When I worked on assessments for my students, he shared his organizational expertise with me. Additionally, there were times when I would share ideas for a lesson plan on vocabulary for my students with him, and Larry would observe my lesson plan in action. He would then give me strategies to use as a follow-up lesson plan to help my students better comprehend the vocabulary that was previously taught. Larry has a heart and strong passion for education, and it shines through when he works with other educators. He is a prime example of what a mentor should be. I am very grateful for his guidance, advice, and mentorship.

As the leader of our professional learning community (PLC) for non-public school leaders, Larry was able to foster an environment where we felt comfortable sharing ideas and brainstorming with each other. He brought up relevant issues that we were all facing and used his vast experience to generate solutions and talking points. The committee still meets regularly thanks to the leadership and foundation that Larry helped to develop.
